Update 2008: Natural Foods in Traunik, Michigan?
For those visiting
for the first time, I have a life-long passion for building and studying various forms of shelters made from natural material and grew up in a community that celebrated original throught, design, and art. Most everyone I knew was either building a house, thinking about off the grid housing & land, but also - with their own hands.

Along with cordwood construction, various masonry projects etc, my favorite remains as mysterious as ever, the native amercian tipi.

Took myself a little trip,out there on the road.

Minnesota,  once Lakota riding plateaus.
And I thought about the Indians out there fighting for their lives,
and I thought about the pioneers, gets awful cold at night."
